Uma’s career spans more than sixteen years across Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Project Advisory & Structured Finance, Debt Syndication, Debt Resolutions / Restructuring / Refinancing, Corporate Banking, Bid Advisory and Management Consultancy Assignments. Presently handling mergers & acquisitions desk and debt resolutions for a select few clients at Capital Fortunes enabling deal structuring, due diligence, financing structures as well as documentations
Started her financial career with Capital Fortunes in December 1999 during which time she was assisting Government Clients in their Public Private Partnership initiatives in sectors of Transportation (Roads & Bridges), Tourism and Urban Infrastructure. From here, she moved to Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited in their Project Finance group.
Later at ICICI Bank she was instrumental in improving and deepening relationships with Large Corporates for their corporate banking products, structured deals with ECBs, FCCBs, and Syndication of loans
As a part of the Project Advisory & Structured Finance group in SBICAPS, her role was focused towards providing advisory and debt syndication services across sectors like power, roads, shipping, retail and transportation. Gained considerable experience in debt syndication, financial advisory, refinancing and restructuring mandates
She is a qualified PGDBA and CFA (Icfai) from Icfai Business School. Also certified in NISM-XIX-A Alternative Investment Funds (Category I and II) Distributors.
