Murthy’s career spans over two decades of hands-on experience in Project Finance with a strong focus on Energy and Infrastructure. He leads a team of Investment Banking professionals and Analysts to devise and deliver solutions in Debt Syndication and Mezzanine Capital.
He has a deep understanding of the dynamics of project financing in India. He brings network across Public & Private Sector Banks, NBFCs, Specialist Financial Institutions and other alternate lending institutions.
Murthy is a certified Insolvency Resolution Professional and brings depth in resolution of Stressed Assets through RBI Restructuring schemes as well as under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
Prior to Capital Fortunes, Mr. Murthy was employed with Public Sector giant Steel Authority of India Ltd and in various capacities in Project Finance of Rourkela Steel Plant.
Murthy is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and an Associate member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICMA).
